When you get started catering to a submissive audience and lean into Femdom/Findom content in clips or on cam, you’ll get a lot of… interesting requests! While many of these requests are in good fun and don’t pose any risk to your brand, career, and safety – there are some things to stay on the lookout for when you get started offering these types of shows or clips.

Beware of Team Viewer Scams

Many submissive fans like the idea of total loss of control and will request that you offer them sessions via applications like Team Viewer or another tool that allows you to completely control their computer. While this can be a ton of fun; there are some risks that come with taking control of someone’s computer. Often times tech savvy users can reverse control and do stuff on your computer which you obviously don’t want especially if there’s personal information on there. Additionally, some submissive clients can claim that the purchases made while you controlled their computer were fraudulent and you can face legal consequences for the usage of credit cards that are not yours. I’d avoid these types of applications and software when possible and if you do decide to indulge in them only do so with long-time subs.

Gift Card Scams and Chargebacks

Some subs will ask if they can pay for your services or spoil you with gift cards instead of traditional payment methods like adult websites. This comes with risk because typically they can request gift cards to be refunded or cancelled and you’ll have to pay the difference on any transactions made if they decide to refund or chargeback purchases. It’s also super important to not accept tips/spoils via non-SW friendly payment apps like CashApp, Venmo, PayPal, etc. because in addition to having your money taken or frozen; the app will also close your account and you’ll no longer be able to utilize them even for personal accounts because it tracks you via your social security number.

If you’re looking for a good alternative to payment apps, you can check out these options:

  • MintStars: Fanclub and content minting platform that supports tipping and pays out 100% to the model (the customer pays the processing fees.)
  • FairPay: Clip selling, photo selling, tip accepting, and more. FairPay offers many features for selling content and pays out around 92%.
  • iWantClips: Very popular Femdom oriented clip site that pays out 80% on tips but brings amazing submissive traffic to clip content.
  • LoyalFans: A very popular fanclub platform with a great audience for Femdom content that pays out 80%.

Blackmail Fetish Can Be Legally Challenging

There is a market of fans that love the idea of being blackmailed but due to the nature of payment processors within the pornographic industry and legal compliance; providing the blackmail fantasy can be a very hard thing to do as a Domme. When catering to this fetish, you can put yourself at risk if the blackmail is too “legitimate” and causes the client to be concerned they’re really being blackmailed. While not catering to the blackmail fantasy is the easiest way to ensure your safety as a performer, you can also try some alternative blackmail methods to stay safe and legally compliant.

  • Don’t use real names or accept custom content requests with real names due to the specifity
  • When doing exposure posts on social media, blur out any recognizable features of the user like tattoos or birthmarks, and definitely blur out their face
  • Never actually reach out to family, friends, co-workers, etc. you can pretend that you will but don’t ever do it
  • Don’t ever post photos or videos of your submissive blackmail clients on your paid sites because you likely don’t have the ID verification required for 2257 compliance and they may try to claim legal rights to your profits
  • Try to emphasize the usage of the word fantasy in any context where blackmail is mentioned to differentiate the service you’re offering from being actual blackmail

Fake Accounts Looking for Clout

Don’t engage with social media accounts that claim they’re looking for Dommes to spoil that involve following, commenting, etc; the best case scenario is they’re actually looking to spend but a majority of the time they’re utilizing the engagement from your social media account and other performers to gain followers. If a fan really wants to spend money on you, they aren’t going to post a random bait tweet. These users are typically time wasters and some of them even enjoy the free abuse they get when they don’t actually send money after baiting you.

There is No Such Thing as “No Limits”

When catering to domination in clips or on webcam it’s very common to ask someone what their limit is and if they answer “no limits” then it is still important to adhere to your website rules and don’t do things that are abusive. While discovering limits together is an important part of the D/s experience, you want to ensure you’re always asking questions and keeping a steady line of consent throughout the experience. Simply saying things like, “You like that, don’t you?” can help establish a baseline of how they are enjoying the experience. This is especially important with more intense fetishes and sub-niches of Femdom like CBT, BDSM, or any pain related experience.
