Producing and Selling VR Porn Videos
How To Film and Sell VR Porn Clips
Virtual Reality (VR) Porn is an emerging technology that is revolutionizing the adult industry. VR porn isn’t just for the major producers. It’s possible for indie models and camgirls to produce and sell their own VR porn. Many of the clip sites even support it! There’s also some entry-level VS cameras that are very affordable. Here’s all the information on producing and selling VR porn videos.
Equipment To Produce VR Porn Clips
In order to produce VR videos, you’ll first need a VR camera. Entry-level cameras can be purchased for anywhere between $200 and $600. There are two types of cameras: 180° and 360°. 180° will only have an area directly in front of the camera, while 360° has a full view of all around the room the camera is located in, including up and down. There’s multiple cameras to choose from, with prices as low as $200 for entry-level cameras.

Tutorial: Editing VR Porn
Once the clips have been filmed, you still need to edit them. Adobe Premiere Pro is one of the few suites that are able to work with VR clips and what we’ll be using for this tutorial. Please Note: This tutorial is still a work in progress, and there will be more videos / walkthroughs coming soon. Here’s what we’ve got so far:
Importing VR Clips Into Adobe Premiere Pro – Before you can edit clips, you first need to import them into the software.
Watermarking VR Clips In Adobe Premiere Pro – Watermarking is important for anti-piracy, as well as adding a promotional element to the VR clips. This tutorial goes over how to watermark the content within Adobe Premiere Pro.
Clip Sites Supporting VR Content
Once produced, it’s time to sell the content. Virtual Reality is still an emerging technology, so not every site has embraced it yet. Luckily there’s still plenty of clip sites to choose from, including most of the big-box ones. Here’s the clip sites that support VR Clips:
Clips4Sale – Clips4Sale is the leading fetish clip site. Although the main focus is on fetish content, vanilla producers and performers are welcome as well. Clips4Sale supports VR and even has a VR section.
ManyVids – ManyVids is the leading clip site and also supports VR content. On ManyVids, performers can also make money from offering a wide range of other services from camming to selling tangibles like panties.
Pornhub – VR clips can be sold through Modelhub, the official Pornhub clip store. Pornhub’s tube site also supports VR and models can monetize free teaser VR content through the Verified Amateur Program.
iWantClips – iWantClips supports VR and has an entire category dedicated to VR clips.
ModelCentro – ModelCentro websites also support VR content.
Stitching The Video Together
VR is basically a bunch of different videos (one from each lens on the VR camera) “stitched” together. How well the content is stitched together depends greatly on the equipment. Higher quality cameras will be way less noticeable than some of the more entry-level cameras. For camgirls and clip producers, it’s important to have a basic understanding of where the stitches are going to be, so that way you can make sure that the main focus of a scene or camming show isn’t directly on a stitch. The stitching is much less noticeable when there’s nothing moving directly where the stitching is.
How Customers Can Watch VR Porn
There’s multiple ways to interact with VR porn. Customers don’t even need a headset to do so, although that’s the way to go. For headsets, the Oculus is the product with the most name recognition, but there’s tons of other wearable headsets to choose from, many with a much lower price tag. For those that don’t have headsets, smart phones can also be used to interact with the content and moving the phone around will change the view. Some sites support desktop viewing as well, and the mouse can be used to pan around the shot.
