Diving into SPLTStream: The Best Cam Splitter Software

Our in-depth review of the newest (and in our opinion, best) cam splitter: SPLTStream

SPLTStream is a cam splitting software that is currently compatible with 4 camming sites: Chaturbate, CamSoda, Cam4, and BongaCams. It comes packed with many features and a super smooth and aesthetically pleasing interface. SPLTStream takes away the stress of running multiple programs or figuring out OBS, and takes the chat and video feed straight to one easy to manage application with built in features that allow you to manage all of your interactions from one window. Although you will need to set some settings within the cam sites themselves, once you are connected through SPLTStream and have your desired options set up, you will very rarely need to actually log in to the cam site itself.

Logging in and connecting to sites on SPLTStream

Logging into SPLTStream is very easy once your user account is set up, it will take you to your dashboard (pictured above) where you can log in and connect your accounts on the four supported camming sites. The connection process is easy and can even be done with two-factor authentication enabled so you don’t have to worry about sacrificing the security of your account to stay connected. The status section easily allows you to see where you are connected and disconnected as well as gives you the option to reconnect in the case of connection issues. You can also manage your subscription plan from this login page, change your password, set your preference for email updates, and choose your preferences for account related notifications. The page is very easy to navigate, highly responsive, and user friendly. There is no confusion on the home page whatsoever, simply click what you need, connect, and move forward!

SPLTStream Notifications Tab

The notifications tab within the SPLTStream software allows you to see your most recent notifications as well as see what software version you are currently running and see if an update is necessary. Once again, this is a very easy to navigate tab that is user friendly and easy to navigate.

The Analytics Tab (and why SPLTStream is the best splitter)

The analytics tab provided on SPLTStream takes the confusion out of split camming, you can simply view how well certain cam sites are performing for you with the options of filtering by today, week, month, year, or even a custom time frame. This can help you decide where to focus your time, and what kind of shows to perform to entice your audience. You can track what kind of shows work well by comparing earnings by day, and you can also use this tab to keep track of tippers! This page is simply the bees knees.

SPLTStream Manage Tab

The manage tab allows you to set users as moderators, silence, or ban users. You can also set regional blocks from this tab.

The Settings Tab (My Favorite Tab)

The settings tab on SPLTStream allows you to set your hardware defaults for your camera and microphone, this is convenient so you won’t have to reconfigure these settings for every stream. You can also create your tip menu in this tab and set it to send in the chat in timed intervals, which is a super cool way to remind your viewers to tip! There is also an option for quick messages so if you find you’re frequently asked something or want to promote things without repeatedly typing them out or copying and pasting them, it’s a very convenient feature!

Going Live on SPLTStream

I couldn’t do an in-depth review without actually going online, unfortunately my webcam is broken so you can only see the “snap camera” logo above, but as you can see there is a section that notifies you when people enter, a chat box, and a very large preview window! The lower left side of the preview window tells you which sites you are broadcasting to, the top bar allows you to connect a Lovense toy, track your tips, see how long you’ve been online, and see who your top tippers are! You can filter your notifications and messages by specific site to keep better track of which site your viewers are from, and you can also see how much you’ve made in tips on each site if you click the drop down on the top bars tip counter! As you can see in the above photo, the chat worked perfectly and someone immediately said “hi” to me (thanks slavebdsm!)

Easy to Use: 10/10
Fast and Responsive: 10/10
Price: 6/10 (Compared to OBS which is free, it is definitely expensive. Possibly worth it for less tech-handy people or people who don’t want to utilize their speed on multiple open programs.)
Interface Aesthetics: 10/10
Customer Support: 10/10
Features: 8/10 (More graphical options like tip responders on screen would be amazing, as this is something that can be done with other cam splitters.)
Site Connect Options: 5/10 (We would love to see more options!)
Live Cam Functionality: 8/10 (I wish there was a stop cam / mute option. I would also love to be able to change the default layout of where the chat, notifications, and video preview are in a way where I don’t have to sacrifice the screen size.)
