Popular Tube/Clip Site PornHub Releases Urgent Blog Post Regarding PayPal Payouts

PayPal has notoriously been anti-adult for years, and it was very surprising how long PornHub was able to continue to payout models using their platform. PayPal has been used by many companies for payouts in the past, which lead to the theory that since payouts aren’t at risk for chargeback that it made sense that PayPal would allow adult sites to only pay out using their platform but not allow performers themselves to take payments. With this out of the blue drop of PornHub, could this be the end of PayPal in adult completely?

PornHub posted this to their blog regarding PayPal Payouts:

We are all devastated by PayPal’s decision to stop payouts to over a hundred thousand performers who rely on them for their livelihoods.

If you have PayPal as your payout option please select a new method and update your information in your Model Settings tab.

If you have a pending payment for October and were using PayPal, please contact us immediately (select support type payment issues) with your updated payment method and update your payment info in your model settings tab as well. Payments will start to be sent out the end of this week. We sincerely apologize if this causes any delays and we will have staff working around the clock to make sure all payouts are processed as fast as possible on the new payment methods.
