Is AllMyLinks Adult-Friendly?

Can Camgirls / Pornstars Use AllMyLinks?

Recently, we’ve been seeing a lot of camgirls and pornstars starting to use AllMyLinks. AllMyLinks is a platform to organize links to various social media handles and websites. Adult performers have primarily been using it to list social media sites, links to camming sites, clip sites or their model website if they have one. AllMyLinks also has monetization opportunities, where users can charge for links or accept tributes. You’ll see many models using this feature for private Snapchat.

Is AllMyLinks Adult-Friendly?

Naturally, whenever we see a platform being used by performers, we take a closer look at it. One of the major things we’re looking for is whether or not the platform is adult-friendly or not. Because we’re in a high-risk vertical, not all payment processors accept transactions for adult. Therefore, a platform that’s not using a high-risk payment processor would be in violation if they’re supporting transactions for adult-related content.

AllMyLinks Doesn’t Allow Linking To Porn Sites

It doesn’t take much to find out that AllMyLinks isn’t adult-friendly. It specifically says it in their Terms of Service:

Content Liability

We shall have no responsibility or liability for any content appearing on your Web site. You agree to indemnify and defend us against all claims arising out of or based upon your Website. No link(s) may appear on any page on your Web site or within any context containing content or materials that may be interpreted as libelous, obscene or criminal, or which infringes, otherwise violates, or advocates the infringement or other violation of, any third party rights.

You may not monetize links to adult websites or adult content. You may not upload sexually-explicit content to your profile.

So it’s pretty cut and dry. AllMyLinks can’t be used to link to adult sites and adult content can’t be used on the site. Furthermore, they also state that no links may appear on any page on a website that contains content that may be interpreted as ‘Obscene’ (don’t we love that insanely broad term?). That means that putting a link to your AllMyLinks page on a Twitter handle featuring adult content would also be a TOS violation.

There’s A Key Word: “Monetize”

There is a key word in that last line though. The word “Monetize”. Does that mean that you can link to explicit content, just as long as you’re not monetizing those links? If you read it verbatim, the answer would be a yes. But you notice the rest of their TOS states that links can’t appear on any web properties that contain content that could be interpreted as obscene.

AllMyLinks Can Still Be Used For SFW Networks

That being said; AllMyLinks can still be used to promote SFW networks without resulting in a TOS violation. Twitter might be a grey area, if the Twitter account contains adult content on it. But if you’ve got a Facebook, YouTube, Twitch or other non-explicit social media handles, AllMyLinks can still be used to promote those sites.

What About Private Snapchat?

Private Snapchat is something that you see a lot of performers using AllMyLinks for. *TECHNICALLY* Snapchat is a completely SFW network, therefore it doesn’t violate the part of the TOS about linking to obscene or adult content. *BUT* there’s still the line in there that basically states that you can’t use the platform to infringe on other 3rd party rights. Charging for access to Snapchat and posting explicit content are both against Snapchat’s terms, so technically it does go against AllMyLinks terms. That being said; Premium Snapchat is a grey area to begin with.

Use At Your Own Risk

It appears that AllMyLinks might be one of those sites that wrote their terms to abide by the payment processor’s policies, but might be turning a blind eye to adult content and models on their platform. This is something that you see happen quite a bit. Patreon is one example of a platform that allowed adult performers up until they had a big enough influencer-base to where they could give adult the boot. You see many “messaging apps” passing as mainstream to get added to app stores as well. Eventually these sites all seem to either get caught by payment processors or eventually give adult the boot.

Maybe Someday AllMyLinks Will Go High Risk

The other thing that might happen is that AllMyLinks might one day partner with a high-risk payment processor. If that happens, they most likely won’t be able to sustain the 90% payouts they offer. High-risk payment processors charge higher percentages than mainstream payment processors, meaning that sites that are using high-risk payment processors can’t offer as high of a percentage as mainstream platforms. If AllMyLinks managed to maintain the 90% payouts, they’d be the highest paying platform in the industry. Currently it’s IndieBill and Unblur, which both offer 85% with chargebacks covered.
