ePayments Master Card Review: Unable To Process New Cards

In an email sent out today, ePayments announced due to a Master Card review, they’re unable to process any new or replacement cards at this time. The email didn’t specify how long the duration would last or when the company could start processing cards again. ePayments also stated that Master Card was conducting a wholesale renewal of chips, which would further prevent them from issuing new or replacement cards.

Original Email From ePayments

Here is the email that ePayments sent out:

Hello,

Mastercard is reviewing our card programme, an event that is not specific to ePayments.

While this review takes place, we are have been unable to issue new cards.

Mastercard is also undertaking a wholesale renewal of chips.

As a result, existing cardholders can continue to use their card, however, we will be unable to reissue cards to existing customers should their card be lost or compromised after 6th August.

We are continuing to work with Mastercard throughout this review as well as explore other options to support our customers.

We will keep everyone updated on progress and inform customers of any change in circumstances.
