Oregon Sheriff Fired Because His Wife’s Camming On MyFreeCams

A Clackamas County, Oregon sheriff is threatening a lawsuit, after he was fired due to his wife camming on MyFreeCams. According to the lawyer, the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office spent hours watching the camming site, interviewed multiple witnesses, took thousands of screenshots and filed approximately  1,100 pages in a report against Jeff Davis, before firing him.

 

Clackamas County Isn’t New To Internal Police Scandals

According to The Oregonian, this isn’t the first time Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office has come under scrutiny over their internal affairs. In fact, Clackamas County has recently hired an outside consultant to investigate the sheriff office supervisors. It’s been alleged that the supervisors ignored complaints about a detective that was eventually charged and convicted of misconduct.

 

Policy Prohibits Outside Employment That Threatens The Agencies Ethics

The investigation centered around the Sheriff Office’s policy around outside employment. The agency prohibits officer employment that goes against their ethics and code of conduct, which includes behavior that “provides entertainment or services of a sexual nature.”

The investigation started when the office received a tip that Davis’s wife was involved with the adult industry. The investigation focused on whether Davis was also partnered with his wife on the business venture.

Davis’s lawyer states that after reviewing the documents that he has not found any misconducts or policy violations. MyFreeCams is a female-only site. No men are allowed to be featured any any shows, profiles, ect. Davis has never performs with his wife on the site, nor would he be allowed to.

Davis’s wife was compliant with all laws during her performances.
