Camming Sites With The Most Traffic – December 2015

Camming Sites With The Highest Traffic

Curious about what camming sites get the most traffic? This is a new monthly benchmark that Webcam Startup is going to start doing. Each month we’ll benchmark all the camming sites and show you which ones get the most traffic. In future updates, we’ll also report on the change in traffic that have occurred in the month. Since this is the first traffic benchmark, we’ll only be ranking the sites by traffic.

AlexaWhat Adult Cam Sites Get The Best Traffic

The second month we’ve been benchmarking the traffic rankings of all the different camming sites we’ve got listed. This month is exciting, because we’ll be able to use the data from the November report to see which sites are gaining ground and which sites are losing ground. All data is providing by Alexa, which is a company that specialises in website data, primarily website traffic. It’s trusted by many webmasters in many industries and verticals.

Camming Sites With The Most Traffic

Below are the camming sites ranked in order of global traffic. All traffic data is coming from Alexa. Alexa is the top tool used to determine website traffic. In addition to the global traffic rating, there’s also the countries that send the site the most traffic. The number displayed is the Alexa Score. The lower the number the better the traffic ranking.

 Germany 4.8% 70 (-23)
 United States 4.8% 517 (+163)
 Italy 4.6% 52
 India 4.0% 201 (-22)

Analysis Of BongaCams Traffic

BongaCams traffic continues to grow globally while they’re losing ground in the United states. BongaCams passed 14 websites for global traffic, and is now within the 100 most popular websites in the world ranking 96th. BongaCams continues to gain popularity in Russia, it’s biggest traffic source. Ukraine fell off the list of top traffic sources. I’m not an expert in Ukrainian law,  but I do know that certain elements of adult camming (maybe even all of it) is illegal in Ukraine. This makes me speculate if there was some kind of crackdown within the country.

BongaCams also continued to gain ground in Germany and India, who were both on the board during the last round. Germany went from being their 5th biggest traffic source to their second biggest, ousting USA which used to place second. With Ukraine dropping out of the top 5 (BongaCams was the 17th most popular website in Ukraine last month) Italy has taken it’s place. Despite a massive loss in American traffic (dropping 163 slots!) The USA still is neck and neck with Germany for 2nd biggest source of traffic.

Analysis Of Chaturbate Traffic

Not a good month for Chaturbate, who saw a global slip of of four slots and a bunch of red all the way across the board. India is the only upset in the top 5 traffic sources. India wasn’t on the board last year, but rose to their 4th biggest traffic source, rivaling Russia and the UK. India’s climb into the top 5 ousted Brazil. The largest loss in the top 5 traffic sources was Russia, which dropped 86 slots and bumped Russia down from 4th to 5th.

Analysis Of MyFreeCams Traffic

MyFreeCams continues in the downtrend, losing globally as well as in many of their top countries. MyFreeCams took a loss of 44 positions globally and seen major losses in the United States and Germany. Canada, MFCs 3rd biggest traffic source saw a gain of 7 spots and Australia ousted Brazil as MFCs 5th largest traffic source. 1/3 of MyFreeCams traffic comes from the United States. MFC needs to stabilize the USA traffic drops or diversify to other countries.

What an interesting traffic fluctuation. After a major traffic comeback over the last few months, Flirt4Free is starting to dip again. They lost 48 spots globally and had a major shift in their leading traffic sources. Germany jumped on the map and is now their 3rd largest traffic source. Argentina jumped on the board as well, Mexico and Brazil fell off and the United Kingdom dropped from 3rd to 4th largest traffic source. Flirt4Free suffered major losses in the United States, India and United Kingdom.

This is the 1st time that XLoveCam has been included in this traffic benchmark, so we can’t compare the change from last month. We can examine the traffic though. From the top five countries, you can tell that there isn’t much of an English speaking presence. XLoveCam is very much a European camming site with a wide range of languages spoken and diverse traffic sources.

XCams is a newcomer to the monthly traffic benchmarking, so we’re not able to compare how it’s changed since the start of last month. We can look at the primary traffic sources, however. The 1st thing I notice is that there are no English speaking countries in the top 5. There’s also a much more even spread of traffic percentage for the top four countries, especially in the top three. XCams is highly European dominate with a wide range of languages spoken and supported.

MyDirtyHobby took a slight loss globally dropping 149 places. MyDirtyhobby lost ground in their top two countries of Germany and Austria and gained substantial ground in the United States, jumping up over 19,500 spots in USA rankings. Switzerland and France jumped onto the top 5 traffic sources, although each only pulls less than a percent of total traffic. Germany and Austria easily dominate with a combined 88.9% of the traffic. What an interesting traffic report. Although ImLive plunged globally, they’re seeing major gains in their most popular countries. The only country in the top 5 traffic sources that saw a loss was Canada, which dropped from the 3rd largest traffic source to the 4th and dropped by 296 places. Their largest gain was in the United Kingdom where they gained 1,856 spots. So despite global losses, ImLive is gaining solid regional strength.

Analysis Of Cams.com Traffic

Cam.com made a major leap in the global rankings, jumping up 1,666 slots. They’re biggest gains from preexisting top-5ers were in India, jumping up 9,363 slots and the United States by 849. Perhaps the biggest gain was in Germany, although we don’t have all the data to benchmark that. Germany wasn’t in the top 5 traffic sources last month. Not only did Germany jump on the board, but is now the 2nd largest source of traffic, accounting for 6.4% of the global traffic. France also jumped on the board, ranked 4th and the UK and Canada both fell off. Could this be a sign that Cams.com is becoming a global player while losing ground in English speaking countries outside of the USA?

If the trends continue, Cams.com will most likely surpass ImLive for global traffic within this next month.

Analysis Of AmateurCommunity Traffic

Amateur Community took a major loss globally, dropping 3,126 points and continuing on their downward trend. They also took a massive loss in Germany, the country they’re most popular in, as well as Poland. AmateurCommunity’s traffic continues to be dominated by European and non-English, but they’re largest gain has been in the United States. Curiously enough, we just started promoting AmateurCommunity on the sidebar of this site during this timeframe and the majority of our site’s traffic is American. Correlation? As much as I’d love to believe we’ve got that much pull in this industry, I’m going to get off my high horse and call it a coincidence. The United States jumped ahead a whopping 32,676 spots, although it wasn’t enough to get them into second place. Germany still dominates the traffic with 69.5% of the traffic total.

SkyPrivate had an interesting month. SkyPrivate took a huge hit in global traffic, enough to where Alexa doesn’t want to provide graph data and will only provide the top 4 traffic sources instead of the top 5. Italy, the country formerly ranked in 1st for traffic sources, fell off the map. Italy got replaced by the United States which saw a good gain in traffic.
