CAM4 Wins VR Cybersquatting Claim over

CAM4 won a major cybersquatting claim today over the domain CAM4 is revolutionizing VR in live camming and is known as the pioneer in the field. CAM4 was late in the game when it came to acquiring domains containing VR and their brand name. In January, John Deiz of SBDGroup in Ljubljana, Slovenia, registered the domain, and allegedly started offering adult content on the site.

CAM4 requested the domain be handed over and filed a cybersquatting claim in May. CAM4 owns a number of trademarks for CAM4 and is entitled to the domain as a result. The arbitrator ruled that CAM4 has rights in the trademarks.
